Grace Thomas Foundation brings hope to Jen Community, Karim Lamido LGA of Taraba State

A philanthropist, has extended his charity intervention to Jen Community in Taraba State. In a rare display of kindness and compassion through the ‘Grace Thomas Foundation’, Military expert and philanthropist Major General H. T Wesley recently embarked on a charity mission to the Jen Community in Karim Lamido Local Government Area.

The philanthropist said that the initiative is aimed at providing essential support and resources to the underserved hinterland community, while bringing hope and joy to its residents.

In a brief ceremony on Tuesday 30th April 2024 held at Jen Community, Karim Lamido LGA of Taraba State, Major General Wesley and his lovely wife and associates distributed food items, clothing, sanitary pads, and educational materials to over 1,000 beneficiaries. They also facilitated the provision free medical services and drugs to those in need in Jen Community.

While speaking passionately about his motivation and desire for humanity at the event, Major General Wesley said “The Jen Community has always held a special place in my heart. I am humbled to be able to give back to this wonderful community and contribute to the betterment of their lives. I believe that charity is a fundamental aspect of humanity, and I hope to inspire others to join me in making a positive impact.”

The charity initiative has brought significant improvements to the community’s quality of life, with residents expressing gratitude and appreciation for the support. The project serves as a shining example of the power of kindness and the impact that one person can have on the lives of others.
