Niger Delta: HRH Dr Selky Kile Torughedi consolidates on peace efforts between communities

In his move to consolidate on peace efforts across the Niger Delta and promote mutual relations among riverine communities, the Eyewei (V) of Azzuzuama, Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State and Amananawei of Abuja, HRH Dr Selky Kile Torughedi a.k.a General Young Shall Grow has visited Korokorosei Communitt, Olodiama Clan, on Sunday 26th January 2025.

The visit is in fulfillment of his eariier promise abd commitment to celebrate diversity and promote peaceful social cohesion among communities. The visit afforded the monarch the opportunity to celebrate with the people of Korokorokosei and build on the existing peaceful relationship between the good people of Azuzuama Community and the good people of Korokorosei Community.

The ouspicious occassion was also an avenue to address shared challenges, such as environmental concerns, public health issues, infrastructural development, unemployment, access to education and other social vices that has impeded progressive development.

HRH Dr Selky concluded his visit by commending the leadership of Korokorosei community for cooperating and chosing to work together with her neighboring communities which will provide more effective solutions to their shared challenges and improve on community security.
