Concern Ekeremor Youths for Rapid Development and Good Governance, comprising of young individuals from various quarters of Ekeremor Township, have urged the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency Senator Douye Diri, to provide electricity to the area as a matter of urgency.

In a statement by the Convener Comr. Timi Okere, the group emphasizes “…that Ekeremor Township, which serves as the local government headquarter, has been plagued by a lack of electricity for several years.”
“This has significantly hindered the township’s economic growth, as electricity is essential for various daily activities, including lighting, heating, cooling, refrigeration, and operating appliances and machinery”.
The statement further adds that “The youths are calling on the ‘Miracle Government’ of Senator Douye Diri to extend its good deeds to Ekeremor Local Government, ensuring the provision of electricity to stimulate economic growth and development.”

According to the group, this would have a positive impact on the community, and they are counting on the government’s support to address this pressing issue. “As a matter of urgency, Concern Ekeremor Youths for Rapid Development and Good Governance is appealing to the Governor to treat the issue of electricity supply to Ekeremor Township with the seriousness and prompt attention it deserves.” The group further believes that immediate action is necessary to alleviate the suffering of the people and unlock the economic potential of the area.In their concluding words, “Good bless Ekeremor, and God bless Bayelsans.”
