Jos, Plateau State — The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has officially lifted the suspension placed on two commissioners, a special adviser, and a liaison officer, following a thorough review of their conduct during the suspension period.
In a statement issued on Tuesday October 1, 2024 by Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Governor Mutfwang acknowledged the significant improvements in their behavior and leadership during the suspension. As a result, he has authorized their reinstatement to their respective positions.
The officials reinstated include Hon. Chrysanthus Dawam, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and Hon. Jamila Tukur, Commissioner for Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality.Also reinstated were Hon. Dio Lamul, Special Adviser on Rural Development, and Hon. Moses Sule, Liaison Officer for Mikang Constituency.
Governor Mutfwang’s decision reflects his commitment to maintaining accountability and fostering positive changes within the Plateau State administration. The reinstated officials are expected to resume their duties with immediate effect.
