Northern Youths Group backs Seyi Tinubu’s statement on economic realities, says succor on the way

The Northern Youth Initiative for Peace and Good Governance has backed Seyi Tinubu’s statement on the economic realities facing Nigeria as a nation. Alhaji Umar Farouk Lawal, President, Northern Youth Initiative for Peace and Good Governance made this known a statement he issued on Thursday 22nd February 2024 and made available to this medium.

The statement reads “We understand the need for patience and endurance during these challenging times and stand with the President’s son.
Our intention is not to belittle the concerns of Nigerians, but rather to contribute as patriotic citizens who strive for a prosperous nation where everyone can thrive without any hindrances.”

“Lip service alone will not achieve this goal; it requires hard work and comprehensive restructuring, which the current government led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is actively pursuing.” the statement adds.

The group urged citizens to persevere in the midst of this temporary challenge in the interest of the great good that it will produce.  “We acknowledge that other nations, such as China during the Mao Tsunzu era and Singapore under Prime Minister Lin Quan Yu, have faced even more difficult times and emerged stronger.”

“Therefore, we urge citizens to support the federal government and embrace the spirit of perseverance. We are confident that this challenging period will pass, and our economic status will flourish like never before.” the statement concluded.
