Plateau State Government Engages NIPSS in drive towards exploring untapped digital potentials in the State

The Plateau State Government has engaged with Senior Officials from the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) who are conducting a research within Plateau State in order to help unlock the potentials of the digital space for youths empowerment and education.

In a statement issued by the Honorable Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation Prof Goselle Obed Nanjul on Monday 13th May 2024 and made available, it was noted that the focus of the discussion centered on a comprehensive survey study to be conducted within Plateau State, aiming at exploring the untapped opportunities within the digital realm and how they can be harnessed to empower the youth and rejuvenate educational systems.

During the parley, Prof (Assoc) Goselle Obed Nanjul highlighted notable achievements of the ministry, underscoring the importance of embracing digital technologies as catalysts for socio-economic development. He stressed the necessity for strategic collaboration between governmental bodies and institutions to effectively harness the transformative power of the digital space.
