The Eyewei (V) of Azzuzuama, Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State and the Amananawei of FCT Abuja has received powerful Northern Monarchs who paid him condolence visits at his Abuja residence, over the demise of his father Pa Kile Torughedi who died at the age of 98.
First was HRH .ALH. (DR) ADAMU BABA YUNUSA (MFR). ONA OF ABAJI – Chairman FCT Council of Chiefs Paid Condolence visit to HRH Dr Selky Kile Torughedi (Eyewei V) Amananawei of FCT at his Abuja Residence.
This visit demonstrates the strong bonds of solidarity and respect among traditional leaders in the Federal Capital Territory.
As the Chairman of the FCT Council of Chiefs, HRH Alh. (Dr) Adamu Baba Yunusa has been instrumental in promoting unity and cooperation among the various traditional councils in the FCT.
His visit to HRH Dr. Selky Kile Torughedi is a testament to his commitment to upholding the values of compassion, empathy, and respect that are hallmarks of traditional leadership.
In response, HRH Dr. Selky Kile Torughedi expresses his heartfelt appreciation to the Ona of Abaji condolence visit to his family during a time of bereavement. And that his presence was a great comfort to him, and his words of condolence brought solace.

Recall that Pa Kile Torughedi, passed on 20th January, 2025 after a brief illness and is scheduled to be buried is 4th April 2025 at his home town in Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State.
