Hon. Silas Patrick Dung Adopted by Gyel Stakeholders, attends reconciliation meeting at Kuru Ward

Jos, Plateau State – In a significant development for the political landscape of Jos, Hon. Silas Patrick Dung, the Jos South PDP Chairmanship candidate, has been officially adopted by stakeholders in Gyel Ward. The adoption took place during a reconciliation meeting held on Friday, 4th October 2024 at Gyel Ward, shortly after which Hon. Dung played a pivotal role in brokering peace among community factions in Kuru.

The meeting was called in response to recent tensions and disputes among party members within Gyel and Kuru Wards, which had threatened the harmony of the area. Attended by community leaders, elders, and prominent figures, the gathering aimed to resolve the conflicts through dialogue and foster unity.

Adoption by Gyel StakeholdersDuring the meeting, Hon. Silas Patrick Dung was unanimously endorsed by Gyel Ward stakeholders as their candidate for the Jos PDP Chairmanship.
