Gov Mutfwang’s SSA on Middle belt Nationalities Hon. Kwada congratulates newly elected EXCO of PIDAN

Senior Special Adviser on Middle Belt Nationalities to Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau state Hon Dan Kwada has congratulated Dr Nanpon Danjuma Sheni over his emergence as new President of the Plateau Initiative for Development and Advancement of the Natives (PIDAN).

Part of a statement signed by Hon Kwada and made available to newsmen in Jos on Thursday reads that “We extend our warmest congratulations on your emergence as the new President of the Plateau Initiative for Development and Advancement of the Natives (PIDAN).”

“The statement added that ” your election, held on September 28, 2024, at the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Jos, marks a significant milestone in the journey towards advancing the interests of indigenous ethnic nationalities in Plateau State.”

“Coming at a time when our communities face various challenges, your leadership and vision are crucial in navigating these complexities. “

“I believe, that Your leadership and vision will undoubtedly propel PIDAN to greater heights, fostering development, unity, and progress among the native communities.”

“We acknowledge the trust reposed in you by the members and pledge our support in promoting the welfare and advancement of Middle-Belt nationalities”.

Hon Dan Kwada added that “as you begin this new chapter, we reaffirm our commitment to working closely with PIDAN to address security concerns and promote peaceful coexistence.He said the Gov Caleb Mutfwang led administration would work with PIDAN to foster economic empowerment and sustainable development as well as enhance education, healthcare, and social services”.

Hon Kwada also appreciated the immediate past EXCO of PIDAN for their selfless service and dedication pledged to Promote cultural heritage and preserve indigenous traditions.The statement concludes that ” I am optimistic that together, we can overcome current challenges, achieve meaningful progress and sustainable development and build a brighter future for our communities.”
