Beautiful Gate Handicapped Peoples Centre Jos extends philanthropy to Musawa and Danmusa LGAs in Katsina State

The Beautiful Gate Handicapped Peoples Centre Jos has in her usual demonstration of love donated 190 tricycle wheelchairs to beneficiaries in Katsina State. 100 of the 190 tricycle wheelchairs in addition to 15 crutches were donated to the Member Representing Musawa and Matazu Federal Constituency at Musawa LGA of the State, for distribution to needy constituents, bringing joy and mobility to people with disabilities.

Presenting the donated mobility enablers on Sunday 21st July 2024, Media Officer, Beautiful Gate Handicapped People’s Center Jos, Sandra Yilgwan, encouraged beneficiaries to shun street begging and pursue education or vocational training for financial independence.

Member Representing Musawa and Matazu Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmed while receiving the donations expressed gratitude to Beautiful Gate Handicapped Peoples Center Jos. He urged beneficiaries to use the items positively.

The Executive Governor of Katsina State, represented by the Deputy Governor of Katsina State Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, acknowledged Beautiful Gate’s philanthropic efforts, citing the significant impact on people with disabilities in the state. He requested continued support in reaching those still in need of mobility aids.

Beautiful Gate also visited Danmusa Local Government Area, donating the remaining 90 of the 190 wheelchairs and 20 crutches to the Executive Chairman of the LGA Hon. Sanusi Abass Dangi. Although the event was initially scheduled for the Danmusa Council Secretariat, it was relocated to Yantumaki community in the same LGA due to security concerns.

The Council representative Hon. Hayatu Dantakuri who is the Leader of Legislative Arm of Council appreciated the team’s efforts, acknowledging the government’s efforts to restore peace in the community.

In her remark, the Media Officer of Beautiful Gate Handicapped Peoples Center Jos, Sandra Yilgwan encouraged beneficiaries of Danmusa LGA to use their time positively and avoid criminal activities, she also encouraged parents, guardians and caregivers of children with special needs to enrol them in school as every child is a gift from God.
