Nigerian Senate Speedily Passes National Minimum Wage Bill

The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday 23rd July 2024 speedily passed the National Minimum Wage Act 2019 (Amendment Bill). The bill, which scaled first, second and third readings, just minutes after it was transmitted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was instantly passed by the upper chamber.
