The Electoral Committee has announced Saturday 10th August 2024 as the date for the National Elections of the association to usher in a new set of executives. In statement by Nanchwat Jangfa on behalf of the Chairman of this year’s electoral committee, sales of forms commences Saturday 20th July 2024.
The committee adds that interested aspirants are expected to pick their nomination forms, complete and submit them latest by Sunday 28th July 2024. Screening of aspirants is expected to hold on Friday 2nd August 2024, while publication of successful aspirants will be done on Saturday 3rd August, 2024. Manifesto is expected to hold Friday 9th August 2024 for presidential aspirants only all at locations to be announced by the Electoral Committee.
The activities of the commitee will climax with the elections on Saturday 10th August 2024. The statement pegs the cost of the nomination form for Officd of the President at N50,000, while the nomination forms for the offices of the Vice President and Secretary respectively cost N40,000 each. Aspirants for the offices of Treasurer, Financial Secretary and Publicity Secretary will pay N25,000 each, while aspirants for the office of Assistant Secretary, Organizing Secretary, Auditor and Provost Marshal are expected to pay N20,000 each.
