Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has led his cabinet members and political associates to the Du residence of former Governor Jonah David Jang to congratulate him on his 80th Birthday.
In a statement issued by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, it was noted that Governor Mutfwang praised Senator Jang’s significant contributions to both spiritual and political spheres, describing him as a guiding figure who has championed the values of godliness, fairness, and equity on the Plateau.
Expressing gratitude for Jang’s mentorship and support, Governor Mutfwang acknowledged the former Governor’s role in nurturing and mentoring numerous individuals who are making notable contributions to Nigeria’s progress and development.
“We gather here today as beneficiaries of your wisdom and guidance, wishing you good health and longevity as you continue to serve Plateau state and Nigeria,” Governor Mutfwang stated.
Recognizing Jang as a visionary leader, Governor Mutfwang emphasized his transformative impact on Plateau State and attributed the state’s progress to Jang’s leadership qualities of wisdom, courage, and determination.
Senator Jonah David Jang expressed appreciation for the solidarity visit and prayed for Governor Mutfwang’s success in leading the state towards fulfilling the aspirations of its people.
As the state embarks on a new phase under Governor Mutfwang’s leadership, Senator Jang expressed optimism for positive changes and development. He called for continued efforts to uplift Plateau and Nigeria.
