Jos Train – a Poem on the Revival of Train Services In Jos by Victor Meshak

JOS TRAIN

On this fresh canvas,
a decent chapter of change.
And Joy comes along!
Each page flaps:
a new dawn,
the city is awake,
the train is here,
torrents of joy!

On the cheeks of our streets:
a sigh of relief
a paradise of smiles.
from coast to coast,
a vegetation of joy blooms.

The Jos train is here!

A zigzag of hills and valleys,
uncovers the cheering sounds,
cadence of our rise,
a dance to the just in Jos,
discordant tunes fade.
The Jos train!
Combs through the heart of the city.

Our pile of mountains,
like a string on a guitar,
enchants the jives,
from calm flow to rising tides.
We welcome.
The Jos train!

I behold;
the green-coloured laughter,
the humming horns,
an orchestra made in paradise,
the cheers,
when justice comes to Jos,
the dismay,
When Jos is justified

The voice of hope
enlivens,
then the child at the intersection,
sings;
the self-seeker, languishes!
Jos rises

Jos Train,
beauty like the elegance of Nirvana.
It lumps with loads,
memories of grandeur to come,
shades of joy,
trumpeter of our new land

The songs rise from every street,
Caleb Mutfwang: symbol of
our collective fight.
now grandma;
can hope her grandson,
comes home in peace,
from one moon to another
rising moon.
The slate of our shared hope:
breath of freshness,
canopy of possibilities,
capstone of stability,
dice of victory.
